Then and Now: Our Staff and the Timeless Joy of Fisher-Price Toys

Written by Ryan Bolton

I still remember my first phone.

The handle was bright red. The base was white. Spinning the rotary wheel was probably my favourite part of calling my parents, my sister and even my dog, Possum.

I was four.

I still remember roaming around the house, the backyard, the front yard, downstairs, upstairs, and even at the neighbours chatting on the phone all day. Catching up on community news.

Fisher-Price has been making quality products for kids for decades now. Its products have been entertaining growing minds and bodies since—get this—1930. That’s over 86 years of smiles. And it turns out, they still make the classic phone.

To showcase the smiles, we actually had our staff send in photos of them with Fisher-Price toys when they were kids (shockingly, cameras were around). We then invited the staff’s children to our office and play with some new Fisher-Price toys. And the consensus is in: Good Toys Last Generations!

Our Staff: Then

Our (Younger) Staff: Now

Your Turn: Enter for Chance to Win $300 in Fisher-Price Toys!

Time to pass on the ageless fun. We’re giving away a bundle of Fisher-Price toys.
