I’m a big fan of play-based learning. I believe our children learn some of life’s most valuable lessons by simply playing. Bonus points if it’s with toys that encourage the use of imagination, and even better if those toys help kids learn about the world around them.
The Fisher-Price collection of Little People toys offers children a whole new world of play with elements that mimic where we live, but with a fun twist. You can find different sets that are colourfully designed, miniature versions of real life.
My son and daughter’s favourite sets are the Surprise and Sounds Home, which features different songs and phrases plus includes furniture. They also love their Animal Friends Farm, fully equipped with different animals and a farmer. Both of these sets can close up easily for storage. Other sets that would be a big hit with kids are the Spinning Sounds Airport, the Swing and Share Treehouse or the Animal Rescue set. You can also find some Disney-themed sets, such as the Princess Magical Wand Palace or the Mickey & Goofy’s Gas and Dine play set.
One of my favourite things about Little People toys is that they offer smaller sets that are great for mixing and matching, allowing kids to really use their imagination. Collect the school bus, airplane, camper, mail truck, passenger train and more and your child can create their own little world to explore and have fun.
Little People toys provides a wonderful way for children to enjoy learning and that makes this mom happy.
