Show off your silly side with these fun and easy April Foods’ Day pranks. Let the games begin!
Rise and Shine
April 1st falls on a Sunday this year. Wake the kids with a cheerful ‘It’s time to get up for school!’ Bonus points if you let them get dressed before telling them it’s Sunday.
Change the position of your child’s underwear drawer. If you have more than one child, swap one sibling’s drawer with another sibling’s drawer.
Green Eggs and Ham
Make the family a Sunday brunch Dr. Seuss would approve of by adding green food colouring to scrambled eggs.
Buy some plastic bugs and serve them up for a mid-morning snack. Tell your kids cricket protein is a hot new food trend. (You wouldn’t be lying!)
A Bowl of Surprise
Pour milk and cereal into a bowl the night before and let it freeze overnight. Your kids will be surprised when they go in for that first spoonful of Cheerios.
