Never Miss a Nap with the Fisher-Price® Stow ‘n Go Bassinet

Written by Jeanine Macintosh

Naptime can be a chance for parents to take a much-needed breather. PLN found a busy mom (of eight!) to take a closer look at the Fisher-Price® Stow ‘n Go Bassinet.

Finding the right baby gear is not always an easy task! There are many choices, opinions, and new options all the time. I try to minimize the gear we buy and use. Now that my daughter, Mia, is getting a little bit bigger, it’s time we get her something comfortable and safe to sleep in during her daily naps.

A Safe Place

For a co-sleeping baby, it can be hard to find a safe place for baby to nap. Especially during the day when you can’t be by their side to have a good snooze. Mia is now almost 12 weeks old and has been a co-sleeper since day one. Our nap solution is the Fisher-Price® Stow ‘n Go Bassinet

The Stow ‘n Go Bassinet is extremely easy to assemble and take down. Included in the box is a storage bag for convenient carrying and stowing when not in use so you can tuck it away and the older kids won’t be able to jump in or play around with it.

Get some fresh air

The Fisher-Price® Stow ‘n Go Bassinet provides a comfy and cozy spot for Mia to sleep, while also being close to mom. It’s portable so even when we go camping this summer we will be toting it along with us!

Perfect for parents

If you’ve ever had a baby that likes to be held or cuddled to fall asleep you’ll know what anxiety I had upon opening and taking the five minutes to put this bassinet together (really, it’s that simple!) but I was happily surprised to find Mia enjoys the bassinet!

Photo by Melissa RobertsonThe soothing vibrations I think makes a huge difference as Mia is one who loves to have a little bounce or pat on the bum when you are rocking her to sleep. She feels a sense of comfort in the motions, and we don’t drive so it’s the next best thing to having a quick little car ride. Plus, we don’t have to pack up and leave we can just pull out the bassinet and she’s content! It also helps me that there are mesh-sides and I can see her at all times. I am one of those moms who needs eyes on baby 24/7. So, it’s reassuring to me that I can see her easily.

Better sleep for parents and their babies

Mia is a baby who loves to be held and loves to cuddle. I was worried she wouldn’t want to sleep in the bassinet but it’s been an easy adjustment for her. I lay Mia in the bassinet and I know she’s safe and sound, and she can see us.
